About Mark:

Mark Amadeus Flowerdew writes quirky, gospel folk-pop that explores unexpected facets of a life seeking Jesus. Amidst warm piano colours and joyful ukulele grooves, Mark’s verses are vulnerable, witty, and always rhyming. (Imagine Randy Newman, but less cynical and less atheist). Mark hopes to offer meaningful rest from your troubles, a thoughtful challenge to your assumptions, and a sense of hope that your life is in good hands. After abandoning his engineering studies to pursue music, Mark released the album Lenten Carols (2016), followed by ECMA-nominated Let’s Go (2021). Mark also composes for various media and leads music programs for long-term care.
